Formerly North Shore Taekwondo, WTTU Black Belt Academy
and Karate for Kids has been teaching martial arts on the North Shore for
over 15 years. Our staff is internationally certified to teach Songahm
Taekwondo. We specialize in teaching the martial arts through solid values
and age-specific training.
Matthew and Oriane Fosen have been teaching and training at WTTU Black Belt Academy and Karate for Kids since 1999. In 2004, they purchased the school from their instructor, Master Hallie Fraser, and have since continued teaching in the traditions of Songahm Taekwondo. Both Mr. and Mrs. Fosen are multiple-time triple-crown Canadian Champions and 4th Degree Balck Belts. Mr. Fosen is a two-time top ten World Champion, including coming in first in the world in forms and sparring in 2002. They are both internationally certified instructors, and certified for Protech weapons training.
WTTU Martial Arts maintains a roster of well-trained and professional instructors. Our instructors are internationally certified and undergo hundreds of hour of training and learning to bring our students the best possible Songahm Martial Arts instruction.
